Vampires in the Wild West: Evil West is coming out in 2021
During The Game Awards show Polish studio Flying Wild Hog and publisher Focus Home Interactive announced a new game, a meaty action game Evil West. That’s when its release date became known: the game will appear on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, and Xbox One in 2021.
In a subsequent press release the creators told more details about Evil West. In the game, we have to save the United States in a stylized universe of the strange Wild West. The action takes place in a town on the border that has been overrun by dark forces.
Our hero is vampire hunter Jess Rentier, one of the agents of a top-secret organization that protects humanity from the awakened evil. The story campaign tells about his fight against monsters, during which we can get and improve weapons and unlock new perks.
In combat, the hero can arm himself with firearms, electric gauntlets and various devices. And he can fight both alone and in co-op with friends. Everyone can build their own style of play.
In addition to Evil West, Flying Wild Hog is working on Shadow Warrior 3, a kind of “explosive” role-action game they’re working on with Jagex, the authors of RuneScape, and another unannounced project.
